BlackT5
I like how 034 has added boost by gear for certain ECUs with the new firmware. I'm playing with the "flexiports" in Nira to add this funtionality, we'll see if it works out. If not, i'll be using it for a valet mode via a switch or adjustable boost on the fly via a potentimeter or both So 390ish whp on 24psi was with or without meth inj? Makes my 333whp @ 17psi seem not too far off target.
EricF
Great numbers Raf! Glad to see you sticking with the car, it's still one of the top few on this board even years later.
Carbon_R
Why you gotta call everybody a Mexican man lol. I'm 99% sure he's Dominican. Playa, I don't think I'll be hittin up Norcal anytime soon. I may do a 2-3 day Socal tour in July if I get some time, but I highly doubt it as of now. I only have 2 weeks in the States, during which time I would like to do Chicago, D.C., and SoCal. It's going to be a tight schedule. Burn that bitch to the floor! At least give me a ring when you get back in the states to catch up. I like how 034 has added boost by gear for certain ECUs with the new firmware. I've seen so many members come and go but a few of us are still here, suicidal
Carbon_R
Gents, I wanted to thank all of you for the support thru out the years here on VS. I guess we all have learned the weaknesses of Volvo blocks, I was trying to attain more HP on the dyno and the unfortunate has happened. My car has a cracked blocked and I'm not willing to continue the journey with my Volvo. I would like to see the car go to an enthusiats and I think you guys can see my battles based on all my post and no nothing was spared during my build, my loss is your gain.. The car sits in my garage with the cover on since June, the car never overheated but you can see the coolant level drop after a few minutes. I would like to see if any of you are interested in taking the car as is, the car starts and runs. About 3K can get you a sleeved block and it's complete, no tuning needed if kept in current configuration. I'm sure it will be hard to find a cleaner and/or modified 850R like mine. Any questions let me know. Raf

BlackT5
I can't believe he left out the fact that it put down 510whp before it popped!! A sleeved block and someone would have a monster! Best of luck with whatever you decide to do Raf. :)
fastwagonhawaii
Sad to see you let it go, that was a lot of work and time. What are you looking to get for it?
matt b
I hope you'll find a buyer soon, shame to see it end like that. You made significant contributions to VS through this build.

prasamin
goddamnit. homeboy, call Aaron and have him send you a block...swap it out and go put down your numbers. me and you were supposed to ride out into the sunset with our bitches. Zappo
somebody buy Raf's car and drop Josh's motor in. If he put down more than 500 to the wheels, Josh's motor would be a downgrade. That car is an instant Best In Show winner for more shows.
Carbon_R
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I think the group that has seen my car can attest that it looks great and has won everytime that I've shown it (not bragging) but it's true. I take great pride in my cars and I hope it shows. Pras, I'm done slugging wrenches, I truly don't have the time with my job. The car has been sitting since June and is a waste to see it sit there. I sent Aaron a PM to see if he knows an enthusiast to carry on the torch. The car was on the dyno and pushed to 29psi and that's all it wrote. The stand alone is back to the old tune of 380WHP @ 24psi, all it needs is a sleeved block and hammer down. The internals should be good, there's no knocking or unusual noises. Did you tune the wagon yet? I'm bummed out but this car has put up one hell of a fight to get here... I'm trying to pass it on as is but if no one wants it, I may part the whole car out and scrap it. I test drove 3 cars, a GTR, IS-F and M3. I haven't made up my mind yet but I will post pics once I get my hands on one of those listed but I need to get rid of the Volvo. If one of you is truly interested, I can show you the car at my home but it can't be driven because of the rapid loss of coolant, I can start it for you but that's it. Take a look at the build page and it will probably answer 99% of your questions. Thanks again, Raf
