A bit of advise for any member on this forum that tries to under take a detailed project like the few of us have done or are doing, at some point it becomes a nightmare, so please, do your research and budget accordingly.I had my share of issues which you're well aware of but I wont get into that since we are chatting about your project.I heard that you also decided to changed the color, WHY???? it looked so pimp before IMO.The only thing I can say is that I hope the end results make you happy or satisfied. One question though, if blackjack did such a bad job on the body work, why in the hell did you take the car back to them for paint? Also, are they refunding you on the paint? I'd raise hell. Ok, so more than one question. What's the status on Terry at VMS? Money refunded? Can I help in any way shape or form? If you want to send me your ECU to look at, send it out. When and if I do my rebuild this winter I'm going to order the parts in September that way when the car is in the garage for the winter the parts might be here Sucks to hear about your dilemma Pras, I hope you get back a good portion of what you spent and I'm sure most of us here will spread the word around the other forums about how you were dealt with by some others; and I'm sure that will change their tune with refunding your $. Its crazy that there are so many options out there for people to choose from and so many of them are complete let downs in terms of quality. Good luck with everything. I have bought two different cars as run around beaters to drive while my 850 is worked on. I have had my car over two years and only driven it a few months in all that time. And most of that was in the first few months I got it. Obviously you weren't ready for a project like this you should have done alot more planning and had all the parts sitting around before you started. I had a friend getting some custom body work done and it took his car 3 years to get out of the shop. Of course it was perfect when it was done but custom body work is not a quick process. Especially if you are getting a deal from a friend. Sorry to hear that you were not expecting things to go this way ,but, that is the nature of custom Auto work. How long did 4U2NV say his body work took? 3 years IIRC. I hope things work out for you pras, and i can't wait to see the pics. But Jeez, stop your sniveling. Most people would kill to get the chance to have your car, even before you started all this work. BTW if you want someone to fix your paint and are willing to drive up this way...
