I actually like the gold Canistos.... hmmm giving me some ideas hahaha ahhh to many projects, and I just got done painting my roof, spoiler, and side trim gloss black. HtownTurboBrick Posted July 7, 2007 Report Share Posted July 7, 2007 well i guess i get first dibs on the motor we took out of pras's wagon... i threw another rod today picking up parts to get pras' car running and it just so happened the biggest storm of the last 2 months hit today and i was stuck out in the freaking flood plain, truck ran me off the road into a high side of water and bam it was over, took on water and motor tried to compress it. so for that fiasco i single handly delayed the stuff out of getting pras' car running. but everything is back in the car, the only problem was everything finally hit me and i couldn't hang around anymore after the first few failed attempts at getting the starter to turn over. hopefully we'll know more about the diagnosis tomarrow. HtownTurboBrick Posted July 9, 2007 Report Share Posted July 9, 2007 aron isn't asain!?nope aaron is as white as white can be...he actually held a 5 minute good ol' boy ad-lib, funniest stuff ever. nope sorry guys im the only crazy asian guy in the crew. although aaron does have a way with the asian ladies and as you can see by his car, jdm is in his blood.pras...pras and me are just having strings of bad luck (curse of the red cars) the starter issue was fixed promptly (crossed wires), but a new issue presented itself. no spark from the distributor coil, it powers up but no signal to fire. they even canabalized my runied car for my MSD and same issue. 3 crank angle sensors replaced, 3 ecu's swapped, relays changed, 2 harnesses swapped, clutch and fly wheel positioned the same way it came off the car and i think pras disabled his remote start alarm. basically everythiing aaron, pras and any other tech we could get a hold of that had an idea they tried and then tried again and one more time for good measure. nobody has any ideas left to what this could be and pras and aaron are at the end of their ropes. today's monday and it should be easier to get a hold of more techs so maybe they'll have new ideas. as for pras he's running out time and i know he's stressing bad.
