Unfortunately for Pras, he's got way more issues to deal with than I did. What do you say? Same thing people told me: don't mod your daily driver. ;)

I bought a daily driver before I ripped the Volvo apart. That's not the issue....the issue is that I have to move back to TX, and then to India. I need the car done, cuz it can't be a hunk of metal in the garage for 5 years....it has to be driveable for my dad.

LOL Your dad already thinks your crazy for what you've done to your car. Imagine what he'll say when there aren't even any door handles!!

So sorry guys, I wasn't concerned about taking pics the last few days, or organizing and posting them for that matter. I have to leave for TX Monday or Tuesday, and the car still needed to be put together and cleaned and buffed and polished.

I finally have it in my possession, however, after 7 long months, and now I'm counting on Aaron to get the engine ready so I can get it swapped in in the coming couple of weeks.

I'm going to be very busy tomorrow finalizing things, so I'll try and take some new pics, and get some of the process pics up. Unfortunately, I realized that I don't have any of the engine pics, nor do I have pics of the 2nd body work job that was done. All those are on the hard drives of the people who performed the work. I'll be getting those soon, they will tell a better story.

Until then, wish me wide eyes on the lonesome 2200 mile drive!

NO DOZE is your friend for that trip. Sorry to hear of your misfortunes. I've heard similar stories from all over from different car forums. You're definitely not alone in having these sort of issues. It's a bummer that you had to continue throwing money at something because it wasn't done correctly the first time around. But I'm sure you learned a lot from all of this as well. Good luck with your future.

I have the car back, and I drove it to San Diego last night....no problems. I'm going to get it washed today, and I'll take a couple of pics. I don't have a working speedo though.

Paul needs to swing by with his 96 cluster for fucks sake
