JCviggen
Weird pic from the top of a lighthouse in Norway. Lots of mirrors and glass around. In the back of a 1930s Buick, driver from the same period. Barely visible a Fjord with a cruise ship in it. Trevi fountains, Rome Finally got my 16-35 L II back now....was a 450$ fix. 20$ parts the rest labour :s
gdizzle
The mirror shot has a holga feel to it, pretty cool. Really dig the BW buick shot.

gdizzle
Actually, most of the photos she was smiling, just seems I chose all of the ones of her not smiling. :/

Mesoam
has anyone messed with extension tubes? seems like a pretty affordable alternative to some high price macro glass....
gdizzle
Zach has posted a bunch of photos w/ exntension tubes in the this thread. I think almost all of his macro shots are w/ extension tubes.
Zaitz
Zach has posted a bunch of photos w/ exntension tubes in the this thread. I think almost all of his macro shots are w/ extension tubes. Great shot of your kid. The light tones work perfect. And yes I've used extension tubes with some success (I think). Though, the quality won't be that of a good macro lens. Macro lenses are generally optimized for close focus distances vs infinity focus. The kenko tubes are really cheap though and provide AF, but that is somewhat useless. 135mm + extension tubes 85mm Rokinon + extension tubes: 135mm: And one of Stella from June I forgot to upload. 135mm dialed in a bit soft: Edited August 28, 2011 by Zaitz

nari
is that the softbox's reflection or a window? I guess window.. judging by the position of the sofa on the prev. picture And that is one big dog I had my first ever outdoor photoshoot last weekend. Awesome expreience. Rented a RimeLite Power Action 6 pack with 2 booms. Well, it is a stupid thing. It can do 600Ws with one boom and 2*300Ws if I'm using both. BUT you can control the power simultaneously for both booms... As soon as I got the permission to upload the pictures I will. I'm interested in what You guys think :)
