Ended up going with the Nikon D3400, got a really good deal that included 3 lenses, 2 extra cards, tripod and a carrying case more akin to a DeWalt case

Nice! I'm a Nikon fan too. What kind of lenses did you guys get?

1 I guess is the stock lens, the other is a pretty big zoom lens and one is kinda looks like a fisheye lens, I forgot the model numbers have to take a look

Man you've really gone up the ladder in terms of gear!

I tried to resist when Henry's had the D750 on sale for boxing day but couldn't lol. Literally drove through the aftermath ice storm the morning of the 26th, which was great because the store was totally empty and I got one of the two they had in stock.

The D750 is my 'goal' camera but I only have 1 full frame lens and the D7000 is doing the job (literally) for me quite well.

Owning both, how does the D7000/D71000/D72000 compare with the FF D750?

What lenses do you have? I've found the 10-24 actually works as long as you keep it between 15-24. There's still some slight vignetting at 15 but you can always fix that with editing.

The transition from the D7xxx to 750 was actually very easy. It's very slightly larger in size but the button placement is very similar. I actually found moving from my D5200 to 7100 was a bit tougher because the 5200 was a bit more "basic". If you go from your 7000 to 750, I think you'll get used to it super quickly.

This 50mm f/1.4D is so much fun to use, especially now that I've got FF.

I have the AI version and use it for probably 90% of my shots.  Phenomenal lens.  Being able to use all the classic Nikkors in their native format was the biggest reason I went FF.

Sweet. Yeah, I love the higher-end Nikons for that reason. It's so handy.

Ahh okay. Hmmm, I wonder if the 10-20 Sigma would work the same way as my 10-24 on an FF.

Not sure, but I need that lens open at 10mm on a regular basis - probably going to stick with DX for a while as can still mess around with full frame on my 35mm film cameras
