HEre are a few tips to get your 60ft down in any front wheel drive car.

You would not really want to drive around like this so would be better to do at the track.

Jack up the rear of the car. Use little plastic spring spacer blocks in between rear coil springs. You want to get it as high and stiff as possible. It will take quite a few spacers to get both sides even. You do not want the rear to drop at all. And get all the weight you can possibly get out of the rear of the car. Spare tire, subs, whatever.

You can also try some type of limiting strap on the front suspension. Have to use your imagination on this. I have seen guys make little straps from precut cable. Seat belts. whatever. And just install them at the track.

Play with tire pressures, drop the pressure in the front and raise the pressure in the rear tires. Run a shorter front tire. Helps with gear ratio. Take your pick of the drag radials. SOme little 15" drag radials will work great. 205 50 15 or so.

Experiment and practice launching. Pay attention to your rpm and how much boost you are making at what RPM. Fine line between bogging and smoking the front tires. DOnt try to shift and AUtomatic car. Just let the car shift itself. Practice, practice, practice. DONT WORRY ABOUT YOUR SILLY REACTION TIME, Your Timer will not start until YOU GO. Reaction time means nothing unless you are running someone heads up for money. Who cares about the other car in the other lane. Your goal should be to better your best ET, and 60 ft not to beat the other guy down the track. THe et's on the time slip will prove who was faster.

Use a little notepad to write things down about your run. Example: Outside temp, Track temp, which lane, Tire pressures, Launch RPM and boost pressures. This will allow you to track your progress, tell you what works and what doesnt.

The car will look silly as hell if you do all these things. Jacked up in the rear and lower in the front. But your 60 ft will improve. I see no reason why many of these cars couldnt cut at least 1.70 60ft's.

Was Cold Cold Cold last night, 33*

Best I got was a 2.4720. I was rolling out of the launch and leaning into it around ~35mph but the tires were just lighting up anyways. Running 205/50-16 Sumitomo HTR-Z's which now cover my rockers all the way to my rear wheel well. MBC@22psi on GT100.

Best 60ft today = 2.3 - this at a 6.88 second 0-60 run

Best run today 60ft = 2.37 with 0-60mph at 6.7

Shitty continental all seasons, only mod is cone filter directly coupled to MAF and QBM cam adjustment. I knocked off .2 seconds on the 0-60 with the QBM cam adjustment running 2 degrees advance on both E & I.
