Owned
QUOTE (matt b @ Apr 30 2008, 10:30 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Adam, I love your new sig. Could you post pics of all 3 cars ? Something tells me I would love the other 2 that I haven't seen.I had to play driveway shuffle today to get my tractor out, so it made for an interesting photo op.The S60 is a stock '06 LPT AWD. Has black interior, GT tranny, Sport, premium, climate packages. I traded in my '01 NA S60 on it and even though it's still an S60, this one is nicer in every single aspect. The slight boost in power and AWD are obviously nice, but the car is much quieter and rides so much smoother than the '01. For what it is, the GT tranny is pretty nice, too. The auto in my '01 felt like it was only a matter of time before it took a shit in the middle of an intersection. It's a perfectly slow, clumsy DD.I don't really have any pics of it by itself. If I have time this weekend I wanted to detail it since I haven't given it a good douching since the snow has been gone. Might take 1 or 2 if I do.The Mustang SVO is just a toy. I'm building another house, so I can't do everything I want to it yet. Right now I'm hoping to start the major stuff at the end of this fall. That way while it's in winter storage the machinist's excuses won't be cutting into driving time. Here's pics of the SVO. The last two are pretty big so I left them as links. http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/7677/dsc00207bc6.jpghttp://img87.imageshack.us/img87/7585/dsc00206ed1.jpgUnless you know Mustangs, you might miss the color matched trim, spats, and door handles. I wish it came that way from Ford because it looks 100 times better. And yes, the scoop is functional. It blows onto the TMIC (for now). JHEIII874T5M
Wow Adam, those painted pieces make a way bigger difference than I would've originally imagined. Nicely done man!
Owned
Here's a stock one:It's tough to see that the bottom of the spat and rocker are black since they blend into the shadow, but the lower ~1" or so is black. The mirrors, door trim, and quarter window trim are also black. The SVO's have different quarter sails that most people don't pick out right away either. Edit: You can also see the stock side emblems on this car. I have them, but they are on a shelf. ;) Edited May 1, 2008 by Owned

khax
what's wrong with the 99's exactly? something with the software or something isn't it? i heard they were bad as well and i'm glad or i probably would have ended up with a 99 s70 base model. ETM. Got a 100K warranty or something these days... but still, a bit of a lag/delay when you hit the go pedal... Volvo claims something like 74ms but you can feel it. Newer ones have ETA... can't really feel it as much.

stick70
well what calc are we talking about?calc 2, just got out of my exam this morning, i think i did ok. Im really not good with series...99-01? ETM. Got a 100K warranty or something these days... but still, a bit of a lag/delay when you hit the go pedal... Volvo claims something like 74ms but you can feel it. Newer ones have ETA... can't really feel it as much.Hell yeah you can feel it!!! I cant stand driving those cars in a manual, its terrible. At least with the new ones, ie 01+ you can get used to the small lag, but damn i dont think i could ever compensate for it on the 99s. BTW OT but whatever, the new s40 clutch is wayyyy to soft. It sucks, pansy ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD volvo owners
