At first I thought the old chain wasn't stretched since lined up next to the new one, the ends matched up. Until I noticed that's because it was off by an entire link. Apparently the needle-point teeth on my second chain ring is as bad as I feared. Can't even use it anymore. Oops. Time to place another order. The clerk was helping us and we told him want we wanted in which he said it would need to be custom... I said OK well what would the price be? So he talked to the designer and came back and said $5400 and I just laughed at him. And said the other places we went were quoting us $2300 and he said.. well OK we can match that and I just laughed at him and said no thanks. I was laughing because the dude just dropped the quote he gave us over $3k just like that.. .which means he was blowing smoke up my ass... what a laugh I had and what a racket this is.
