flyfishing3 Posted March 31, 2010 Report Share Posted March 31, 2010 i found it very easy, i had trouble with other subjects in life, but anything econ, i blew through it. i wanted to be a stock broker my entire life, my Jr year in school, i found out what a stock broker really does. I'm an Econ major, "only" ten years out here's what I'll add: My background in econ helped a ton with my MBA. It was a solid base for the classes that mattered. Before my MBA, it helped me understand some important stuff when I worked in export (for 'the man') and then as a manager at Enterprise. Now that I run my own import/export gig, it's hard to see what comes from my MBA and what comes from my Econ BSBA and I guess that speaks volume about the depth of that major. I picked it in part b/c I couldn't decide what I wanted to do and I knew that it would give me solid basics in the areas that mattered.
