Boost_Junky Posted September 10, 2010 Report Share Posted September 10, 2010 HI. i understand dragging but whats the browser window? i said go slow. l ol lol l ol and that will let me have numerous tabs visible at once. i'm running two monitors. everytime i click on one, i lose the other one. No biggie, let me help. So basically you're opening the program twice. Not the file. Go to your programs list, open excel, then open the file you want. Drag that first instance of excel onto your second screen. Then go back to your programs list and open excel again, then open the file you want in that instance. Keep that one on your first screen. flyfishing3 Posted September 10, 2010 Report Share Posted September 10, 2010 damn it, i'm so confused. i did that. when i drag it, the whole thing comes. i'm able to get my large file open fine. i can open a new XL book but i can't open different pages in the same folder. not sure i'm explaining this right. i have a file with 8 tabs. i want to be able to view multiple tabs at the same time. Now each of those instances can have an excel spreadsheet open in it. Could be two different ones, or, could be the same one.
