RBoy8
Speaking of stupid burn out pics, whatever happened to Shellie ? I think last time I saw him here (or on TB I think?) he had a red 740 wagon with Bmw wheels? Not 100% certain though...
Fudge_Brownie
I was down in FL for work and when I told everyone it was too warm and that I missed the cold. I don't think people believe I'm serious. But I have to say, I do miss riding my bike. It's too cold to do it, makes my throat hurt, sidewalks are covered in snow/ice etc. I just can't enjoy it in the winter. That and lately my toes have been turning white and then blue and loosing sense of touch. If it keeps up, think I'm going to need to talk to a doctor about that
gilber33
Found this rolling around in my trunk. Anyone know what it is? -1? Obviously whoever clicked that little red button has an auto and is just sour they still have to use a switch if they want their car to go fast or not. gmsgltr
i almost gave you a -1 for having the ugly 94 switch rather than the 95/96/97... lol didnt know you had a manual! big east indoor track championships next weekend... probably running the anchor leg of the 4x800

Yeah, that was the joke behind. Obviously have no use for it, and I actually forgot these cars had that switch until I found it in my trunk. Haha. Picking my gf up from babysitting, notice both my boost gauges read zero, but my ebc still had a reading, sure enough, boost gauge hose came off of the vac tree, slight boost leak. --Aaron--
I know she meant well but the wife and I got into it pretty good today. We got our tax return back Friday. Apparently with the help of the idiot Best Buy sales person they picked out a system for my car. I am so incredibly picky about what installs into my car and am pissed because I had specific plans for a system down the road and now she spent however much with the help of a sales person that may as well work at Pep Boys. Honestly I am probably going to sell it. I am not installing a system into my car that I didn't plan out. A lot of this has to do with how my parents did presents with me as a child. They would take me to the store and allow me to pick out things that I wanted. It's a sure way to get exactly what you want and will be most happy with and is how I like to go about doing presents. That and the fact that she knows how anal I am about my car and she thought it was ok to pick out a system with a Best Buy idiot. /rant I will stuff my pants if she returns home with a really nice setup and of course apologize immediately for getting mad. The sales person is the husband of a friend of hers that knows stereos so she may not have done real bad. All I know at this point is that she got whatever she bought with his employee pricing and apparently saved hundreds. I would've rather had Koni adjustable rear shocks which I planned on installing before the system anyways. Apparently Lisa told me to buy those so maybe I should just keep my mouth shut and go with the flow. Edited February 13, 2011 by --Aaron--
Stormtrooper1
All I know at this point is that she got whatever she bought with his employee pricing and apparently saved hundreds. The BB employee discount is pretty good. Though if it's not your liking why not just have her return it? Though I guess you can turn a profit by selling it. though that is really risking your wife's friend's Husband's Job.

That's what she told me, that we cannot return it for fear of getting her friend's husband in trouble but I can sell it if it's not something I want. Apparently he is going to purchase the items after he's off the clock in a few hours and will be delivering it I guess. Mainly I'm agitated because she knows how I feel about this kind of stuff and thought it'd be ok to buy something for my car without me knowing and approving. See I'd just have the guy take it back in a couple days... Changed his mind. gift for the wife she wanted jewelery instead etc.... type of thing.... But... depending on the mark up of the stuff it would be a profit to sell it, though if your not interested why doesn't the wife call the guy, or go back and tell him not to get it? I see what you're saying and you make perfect sense. For whatever reason she will not tell him not to purchase the items and would rather me just sell them if I do not want them. If I do sell them I'm going to unload the stuff for a hell of a deal, might as well pass on the extreme savings to someone else. She sent me pictures and I've identified what was purchased: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Kicker+-+Z-Series+2-Channel+Amplifier+Installation+Kit/9906546.p?id=1218193798315&skuId=9906546 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Kicker+-+ZX+Series+400W+Class+D+Digital+Mono+MOSFET+Amplifier+with+Low-Pass+Crossover/9894152.p?id=1218190975819&skuId=9894152 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Kicker+-+10%22+Single-Voice-Coil+4-Ohm+Subwoofer+with+Enclosure/9894295.p?id=1218190975541&skuId=9894295 I have no experience with Kicker products, thoughts?
