Why would you bring back a puppy with you when you are stressing about money? not very smart

Long story short, to avoid a fight. My wife gets all the food for free, Purina, in part, sponsors the rescue that her and her sister run. They have large pallets stacked full of Purina boxes in their garage.

Good thing too, the little thing eats a lot.

I hope you get it together soon. Nothing is worse for a young marriage then money problems.

Just a little speed bump is all, we'll be ok. We just have to follow a precise budget.

Plus one.

Make a mutually agreed upon budget. One that is actually viable. This may or may not include blowing a tax return on car parts and buying puppies when you are below your lower limit in your checking accounts.

Regardless, though...

The dog didn't cost anything, wife and her sister run a rescue and they saved this 6 week old puppy from being put down. It was surrendered because the owner said it chews on everything.......we have yet to see that. Potty training's a bit aggravating but it's only temporary. She's actually starting to catch on.

The only fun thing I bought recently because I wanted to have them were the Koni rear shocks, total came out to $230. I did some work for Justin and in the end only spent $80 of the tax return. I really haven't been blowing money.

avoid a fight with who?

AND lets hope that thing does not get sick.. dogs are expensive to take to the vet.

just go take the dog to a non-kill shelter and call it a day. if you are hurting for money and on un-employment.. why would you keep a dog? It just does not make sense.

To avoid a fight with the other human in the house.:rolleyes:

Well, her sister had the puppy listed on their rescue adoption site but Lisa had to have it. It's a long story man, women can make life hell and I don't think I need to get much more detailed than that. Either way it's her puppy, she cleans up after it and that will diminish very soon once we get it trained to go outside right after getting it out of the crate. Our other dog is already crate trained, makes life a bit easier having a dog that's in the crate waiting on you to shut it's door on your way out of the house. Food expenses are a non issue so there's really no major income hits created by the puppy.

I hear you on the vet bills, we've had several occasions related and they surely weren't cheap. We do have too many animals but by the smell when walking in the house you wouldn't know it. I keep after the cat boxes every 3 days or so and it keeps smells non existant.

It's a cool little puppy, my main gripe was we already have so many animals but none of them destroy things, etc. so yeah.

Honestly, it's very entertaining having multiple pets. I barely ever watch TV.

I won't lie, the cats are my favorite. :o

Money will be fine, just have to closely follow the budget and keep my head above water. I'm sick of waiting on a phone call so I'm going to go talk to the plant manager at my work in person on Monday. Should no good come of that I have a full time opportunity that will start around April 1st. As always my eyes are glued to the newspapers and various companies' online openings. I'm doing all I can.

I passed on the Harley deal, it sounded like more hassle than it was worth.

Sorry about the book, so much to say so little space.

Seriously man, that's not really appropriate nor is it funny. It might give me a chuckle if a friend made the comment in person but from a stranger on the internet....yeah.

Maturely, person to person, enthusiast to enthusiast could you please not make comments like that?

Operation house cleaning day, final step, wash bedding stuffs. It's such a pain putting the bed back together due to it's size..........speaking of I guess I should probably get the comforter back on.

I got some good news in regards to the job thing as well. Starting the first week in April I will be testing out the waters for one of PPL's subcontractors. Thanks to my wife, the sub contractor is a girl in KY's father. The girl is associated with the dog rescue and from talking to my wife she had her father get a hold of me about putting me back to work. He's just up the road in Harrisburg so that's not too bad.

How is John Goodman still alive???

Saw him in the movie SpeedRacer, on TNT when I woke up. That movie sucks so many balls. I really can't wrap my head around such a high budget operation getting the greenlight with that much suck. Needless to say, I quickly noticed TopGear was on and changed the channel.

Beteen lifting on Friday afternoon, a run friday night, and my non-stop back problem, I feel sore from head to toe today. And fuck eating. I have zero appetite but I know I gotta eat after a day like that. It's like a chore
