Fudge_Brownie
They are a pain to work on compared to the Volvos, I know that much I figured as much. I was just joking with a coworker "how many people will show someone a car and the first thing they'll say its, quick go get the jack, lets get under this thing?" Stormtrooper1
You're safer out of that thing anyways. unless you are the one that the car rolls over.

andyb5
They are a pain to work on compared to the Volvos, I know that much Yeah thats what I've heard. I B5 S4's, but have no intentions of ever owning one due to the need to pretty much pull the whole font end off for minor repairs.
Fudge_Brownie
Well the good news is my brother is a great wrencher, and works at an performance motor machine shop. So he'll be ok I've said it before and I'll say it again, if I ever get in a real jam, he's the one I call to get me out. Thing is he doesn't understand a lot about "performance" minded stuff, boost, or computers. He'll learn it now though. He's learned a lot about carb'ed vehicles, and mostly about general repair. Oh, and I'll be sure to share with him all the hard lessons I've learned, so he won't have to make the same mistakes.

andyb5
Watching a show on discovery channel (Rides) about showcars Apline built for the CES, and holy fuck they are SOOO ugly I get that the car is all about fitting as many speakers/amps into the car, but damn, it just re-affirms that money can't buy taste: 2004 Mini Cooper 2005 BMW X5 2006 BMW 645i
Fudge_Brownie
So my car has developed an awful metallic clanking sound, which almost sounds like gears grinding. Can't identify the source, but there's a few things I've learned. All the fluids are good. It used to only happen on cold starts, but now happens on warm starts as well. It sounds like its coming from the transmission. It goes away as soon as I shift in to R or D, but not N. This can only end badly
