T5power
I've never really taken a second glance at one until I test drove that one Monday. You're right though, I think I have a newly found soft spot as well. I really liked the "cockpit", everything feels like it just wraps around you. It was almost as if the seat wrapped it's bolsters around me when I sat in it. I could def. see long trips going very comfortably. The only thing I'd like to see on it are fog lights. I imagine they were available but on all the other 05's I've researched they don't seem to have fogs. Unless the headlights are that good that you do not need them.....still nice for cosmetic reasons though IMO. The TL-S is a pretty amazing machine, unfortunately I'm looking for >80K miles and around 15 to 17K. I just didn't see one that fit the bill. I also have my home situation in mind, a TL-S would stick out like my Volvo in a downtown city where it would live and I'm tired of having an eye catching car. No one respects other people's property around here. from what i remember at my dealership days, the 04+ TL's had standard bi xenon headlights with integrated foglights. i remember driving an 04, fucking loved it. sharp looking fo show. --Aaron--
from what i remember at my dealership days, the 04+ TL's had standard bi xenon headlights with integrated foglights. i remember driving an 04, poking loved it. sharp looking fo show. I joined a TL forum to learn, been reading around a bit and that seems to be the general information. They also retrofit 03 - 05 Accord Fog Assemblies and Type S grills. None of that though if this happens. But holy stuff is there ever a large aftermarket world of support for the TL's. The prices seem to reflect the popularity and production quantity as well making things a lot cheaper. From what people are saying if you live in 6th gear on the highway you get 30+ mpg, that would surely work, especially since that's most of my driving. The 04's mainly seem to have a problem with the dash pad top material cracking all nasty so I'll have to have a better look at that this weekend to make sure it's alright, I haven't ran across any real issues in my reading other than that though. Being an 05 that's less common to happen, apparently. Edited August 19, 2011 by --Aaron--

Fudge_Brownie
So I have a minor exhaust leak, POST cat, and I was past-due on my inspection. Figured, fuck it, that shit should pass. I don't see how it would be against any of the rules. Nope, failed for 'noise'. And he said one of my hi-beams was out as well. That's news to me, and I checked when I got home... he's full of shit. From now on, I'm doing my own pre-inspection literally before driving over there so I'll be ready to defend any BS. Edit FUCKER! MA passed law stating: "Unnecessary noise is herein defined as any noise which is louder than that emitted by the vehicle when equipped with the original manufacturer's equipment." I thought we were still dB-based. That law effectively bans all aftermarket exhausts, so that even when I get the leak taken care of, he could still fail me Awesome. I hate this state. Smithwicks
All they do in Wisconsin is, pull up to the emissions station, step out of the car, plug the obd2 reader into the port, run through the check, good to go. B)
Fudge_Brownie
dont you guys have ricers in MA?? are the just running 8 resonaters on their fart cans? hahhahaha The have the same law for motorcycles. And I just had mine recently inspected with an old ass Vance/Hines pipe that I'm pretty sure most of the glass is long gone. He didn't bat an eye. Plenty of shops know how to look the other way, especially when rules change.
