All antidepressants carry an interesting and scary warning about the user suddenly going nuts and offing themself. I just find it so hard to believe that the patient would take a sudden change in plans after beginning the medication. I'm sure there's a high incidence of antidepressant users and suicide but..... shouldn't we expect that?

Side effect of a medication I'm taking for sleep (hey look at that, it's 2am. awesomeeeee) lists "painful erection that lasts longer than normal"

I was told I'm taking such a low dose that it is extremely uncommon/unlikely but talk about shitty.

I'd drive to the doctors office mid errection, pull down my pants in the waiting area and yell "My d*ck hurts, and somebody needs to fix it"

You don't want to know what we do, and it can involve a big needle in a place that you would least like to get poked.

 true 'nuff - though a well designed study should control for that.

It's a funny thing; individual brain chemistry is so variable. I have seen people "snap" - go completely bonkers on very mild doses that some people don't even notice after 6months. Anyways, I'm very sorry about the back pain & hope you get some solutions soon!
