Don't let them start expecting more..I have friend who got suckered into all kinds of other tasks with a similar deal as yours. If your landlord is cool you will make out well.. Well, he's putting my tasks into the lease, so if he starts asking for more, I can tell him that was not agreed upon. But I am going to take the initiative to paint some things, i.e. the hand rail for the steps inside, touch up the walls. I don't care if I get paid for it or not, but I would like for my apartment building to look somewhat respectable when I walk in. I mean i'd do it too for $75 I'd kill for a studio. but i did manage to get free parking ($85/mo) this year. After living with 4 roommates freshman year, and then 3 roommates sophomore year, I had enough. I love the studio. I'm going to do some major rearranging in a few weeks to make better use of space, but all in all, it's excellent. That's what I was mainly after, just getting parking basically for free. I just checked the tracking info and: Incorrect Address - Item returned to sender, February 15, 2012, 7:08 pm, POLAND Arrival at Post Office, February 15, 2012, 7:41 am, POLAND Customs clearance processing complete, February 14, 2012, 12:55 pm, POLAND Customs Clearance, February 14, 2012, 10:02 am, POLAND WTF?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?! Mistake wasn't on my end. I wrote down the address just as it was given to me. I'm hoping redline helps me out with this (i.e., pays for shipping the wheel back to Poland). I sent them an email but won't hear back until the morning because of the time difference.
