Fudge_Brownie Posted September 3, 2012 Report Share Posted September 3, 2012 next time you take a nap do it while watching tv/music/or some other white noise so it gets your thoughts off of the negativity and it lets your mind wonder, especially at the point of no return when you do finally pass out. if youve already tried this then.....dam ill think of something else to try eventually I always fall asleep to music or TV. I hate silence, especially when trying to sleep. Slept to a radio or a TV since I was like.... 8. Doesn't seem to change anything. Silence itself just delays the onset of sleep because my mind is always busy thinking of shit. Focusing on a song or TV, and I'm out on the first commercial break. Nap or regular sleep, works the same way. My lack of consistency in my sleep habits is probably my biggest problem. Check this post's timestamp But the problem is, I've always been most active late at night. My mind just works then, no matter how many times I wake up consistently in the morning, I'm useless in the morning and good to go at midnight. I've tried to stay consistent and it just doens't work. And for trying it the other way around, I figure most places these days would have a problem with showing up at noon every day and working till 8pm.
