Burn-E
Cubs President Theo Epstein saying absolutely nothing in a lot of words but it sounds like he's saying he needs to remodel Wrigley Field in order to win a World Series. “I think it’s fundamentally important to get us to the next level as an organization. We have a baseball plan and we have a business plan, and they’re timed to sync up with one another, they’re inter-dependant. “And if we don’t get our Wrigley renovation done in a timely manner and done the right way, then we can’t accomplish our business objectives and that will certainly get in the way of us ultimately accomplishing our baseball objectives, so it’s very important.”

I remember when the Ain'ts needed a new Superdome to win games. I am actually surprised New Orleans didn't listen to them.

andyb5
Big Sox fan over here, but I haven't been real thrilled with the organization the last couple years. I have low expectations for them this year. That being said, I love seeing them beat the Yankees

Brady
Big Sox fan over here, but I haven't been real thrilled with the organization the last couple years. I have low expectations for them this year. That being said, I love seeing them beat the Yankees Last year was the most unlikable team they've had in years. It takes something really special to have what they had around '03/'04. But the team is starting to rebuild its identity and this year will hopefully be exciting seeing how the tables have turned in the AL East so much the past few years. And before the game yesterday Curt Schilling said he thought the Yankees were "destined to finish at the bottom of the division". Wouldn't that be fantastic? Even if the Red Sox finish right above them. Which is highly likely to be the case this year. Doesn't mean I don't love watching them. The Big Tuna
Ya, what about it? Seemed pretty par for her course. You wtf'ed about the ending? It did kinda suck. But I thought the rest was good. The whole thing was like watching a burning building, I kept watching to see what was going to go wrong next. From leaving the stage, to the kid going on stage, to the ending, I thought the whole special was an April fools joke. I even googled it halfway through the show and she was live tweeting not to watch it, which who knows if that's a joke.
