Sometimes crying because he is awake! Tonight he didn't like the different sauce on the meatballs. I'm conflicted over the whole thing because it speaks to an unresolved question of what it means to be ordained to the priesthood (all worthy males 12 and older are ordained to various offices) vs what aspects of culture are driving rules and decisions. We believe in continuous revelation so who knows what the future holds. Hopefully a more balanced understanding of what it means to lead in the Church though I doubt we'll see female ordination in my lifetime - specifically because I'm not sure those advocating for it (a very small minority) appreciate why God might have chosen to arrange things as they are. One of the best paragraphs I have read In a long time. Not the detail of any specific religion but really well written and the insight of the last sentence is beautiful.
