Yea-but...
There are scrotums in this video. I thought I was going to die when they took them out to see the drawings. "It's like these balls are angry and have no friends and these balls are new and full of hope" Couldn't breath for about a minute straight
gilber33
How hard is it to remove the door panel insert on the x70s? The section that typically comes delaminated...
MattyXXL
This was all i was able to find... hope it helps http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?153314-S70-V70-Door-Panels
gilber33
OK. So it doesn't really look like the actual insert comes out by separately. Thanks for that link. I have a set of R/SE panels, not sure if I'm going to use them but I don't want to ship an entire door panel. I wonder how a two-tone would look in the S70. Black R inserts with tan surrounds and SE seats. Might look OK, might look real gaudy.

Kevin.
If you wanna make it look good, do a black door panel and a tan insert
gilber33
If you wanna make it look good, do a black door panel and a tan insert That would defeat the purpose the R door panels. I idea was separating the tan door panels and the R panels and using the stitched black insert with the tan surround and then the SE seats. But that sounds like WAY more trouble than it's worth. Those seats in the S70 with a tan dash and black door panels?? Besides, those seats do not belong in an NA.

Burn-E
Gross. Those seats in the S70 with a tan dash and black door panels?? Besides, those seats do not belong in an NA. Here's what I predict. Gabe is going to get bored with futzing around with the catch cans in his 850R at some point and decide he really likes the more modern interior of the S70. Eventually he will do a full body swap between the two cars such that the S70 becomes an "R" and the 850 becomes an NA. At which point he'll have a need for additional charcoal interior bits and acquire yet another donor car to supply those bits.

The car's will stay as is, however, the 850 will never be anything more than a project car now. I could never DD that car after driving the S70. In fact, it will probably be the last 850 I ever own until my kids need cars, they'll drive 850s.
