Timbo Slice
It's out in the parking lot and I don't have time to run out and measure it. I was just hoping someone had a quick answer, I'm designing something for it on SolidWorks.

quiksilver
Pfft, imperial system. No problem, want the measurement by the top edge of the windshield too?
Timbo Slice
Pfft, imperial system. No problem, want the measurement by the top edge of the windshield too? Nah, I just need the width, it won't be the full length of the roof. Now that I think about it I only really needed a rough estimate. I'm figuring about 45in should suffice. Roughly 49" roof strip to roof strip Thanks JRL, this is what I needed.

The roof isn't a plain rectangle, these cars taper inwards after the sunroof, that's why I offered the windshield area width too. Don't tell me this is for a big vinyl Swedish flag on your roof. Timbo Slice
It has nothing to do with the actual roof, moreso an item for the roofrack. I just wanted a general idea of how wide the roof is so that I won't overhang it on the sides. I'm posting a showroom thread in a bit. Fudge_Brownie
Anyone ever try lengthening the life of their razors? I just recently bought 99% alcohol to store them in. I only shave about once a week, using cartridges. But it seemed like frequency didn't matter so much as time did. Googling it, I found most people think it's oxidization that causes the dulling, not the use. Drying them off, or storing them in alcohol or oil would prevent this. I kept mine in the shower, so it gets wet every day.One quick sniff of pure rubbing alcohol immediately brought my mind in to a hospital. Figuring at the very least, it should help to keep the razor bacteria-free. I guess I'm surprised I've never met anyone who does it. Is this one of those things that isn't worth the effort?
