Brady
So my XC... CEL, airbag light, sunroof leakage, a handful of small but accumulating problems... and I barely even drive out here. Ford-owned Volvo < bricks. Can't say I'm surprised that my 170k mile '01 is acting up on me (even as I drive it with serious care), I'm just used to giving the 300k mile S70 the beans every day while it fails to miss a beat. Burn-E
This dealer's collection of Volvos is nothing short of astounding. http://schmidt-gemert.nl/galerij/?pcfoto=1 http://schmidt-gemert.nl/collectie/ http://schmidt-gemert.nl/auto/?pca=1 So those cars, I do believe he owns a nicer and lower mileage R than Jim does. http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=nl&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fschmidt-gemert.nl%2Fauto%2F%3Fpca%3D1&act=url 40,000 km = 24k miles
gilber33
Will keeping the rear o2 unplugged cause any drivability issues?
Stormtrooper1
Holy Jesus... if only my work truck would do that! I like how on the real car test the Wagon pulls away at the last second like "oh no it's not gonna work!"

survolvo
I am starting to wonder if this Volvometer guy owns any tools other than a multimeter. Seems almost every one of his answers involves checking something with it.
matt b
Will keeping the rear o2 unplugged cause any drivability issues? No. Did it for almost a year when I didn't have any alternatives in FL.

gilber33
No. Did it for almost a year when I didn't have any alternatives in FL. Made an extension for the O2 sensor anyway and so far no CEL. Didn't want to look at the CEL for the sensor. Still have a CEL for misfire on #2.
