That Amazon drone news is like 6 months old. Why is it all over the news now?

Imgur lolz.

first time for me -- maybe 'cause vid just came out? (did it just come out?)

I've said to others, the efforts for this should be towards USPS mail deliveries and not amazon prime packages

First time I seen video. But I read about it somewhere and even heard about it on a podcast over the summer.

Some funny conclusions can be drawn from this very flawed study done by Condomania that resulted in their ranking of dick size based on volume of various condom sizes:

http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/12/03/which-state-is-the-biggest/

It's official, some of the biggest dicks live in Massachusetts and DC

But apparently in New Orleans they're only dicks like a mid-sized Ford Ranger

And apparently there are no dicks in Georgia...

Trojan claims we're the best endowed, actually. I am not in that number, sadly.

We have a skate spot again!!! 2 years ago our local skatepark went out of business, and while I did get a fantastic spine ramp in my backyard out of it, it left us hanging for a winter spot. FINALLY, problem solved!!

Much building still needs done, but we have a skate spot that's in a heated building again B)

This will all eventually get bowled in. Super fun to ride. Our own private piece of skate heaven!!

Local building supply must love you guys... that's a lotta plywood.

Yes it is. Fortunately I had a bunch of wood we harvested from the local skate park that went out of business, but we still ended up getting another full bunk of 3/8 ply for the sheeting, as well as a bunk of 2x4s and we're almost ready for more. I did have a bunch of coping as well, and that's another big cost savings. Once its done, we'll go over the whole thing again w/ 1/4" masonite.

Anyone here have experience w/ making steel coping fit bowled in corners?? My only thought is to make a cardboard template and bring it and the coping to an exhaust shop and hope they can bend it (coping is thicker steel than exhaust). Anyone have a better idea? The future dream is to make concrete coping, but for now we just want to skate.

We can actually do the concrete, that mainly takes time and a mold and we actually plan on eventually doing that. But so we can skate for now, does anyone have a better idea for getting the steel coping to fit those bowled in corners??

Doing one-off exhausts, we used copper wire (doesn't have to be copper, of course) to establish shape, then took to exhaust shop, and had them bend to the wire. The corners may be too big to do this on, and wire too flimsy, but in any event, I'd go to a commercial "truck" shop, specifically, to see if their bender can handle the coping. If it does, then you just need make the bends/radius/length for them to follow.

I think I've still got some clay wheels around here.

I remember when the urethane wheels came out with sealed bearings. Man, that was some modern stuff!

Growing up in the country, I really wanted to go to "Dogtown" back in the day. Wish I had kept all those skateboarding mags.

And probably kept any of the old decks. A friend of mine sold his Z Flex deck on ebay for like $900. I broke my foot when I was a teen, and at the time I had a Lance Mountain Crest deck that was still like new. I traded it for some crappy Mongoose BMX bike which was a deal for me back then, but today that deck would be worth about $800.

If you're bored some night, this is a good documentary.
