But I find the whole "application" to be very sluggish. Feels heavy, bloated. The changes are driven by UI specialists, marketing and branding people, and the advertising department. They're pushing touch screen centric dumbed down UI design in all sorts of places, Windows 8 is the most horrendous example I can think of off the top of my head.
