Brad850 Posted July 22, 2014 Report Share Posted July 22, 2014 (edited) Guys engine is out for the manual swap, just bought matts billet 19t. Should I throw rods in it real fast? I'm talking no hone, no new rings. Just rod bearings and h-beams. I have a daily for work and the engine is already out so I'm in no rush. I calculated it to be around ~500. This is including head gasket, head bolts, rods, rod bolts. I just need to price out rod bearings. Good idea? (not my picture) Josh: Pictures of the fan setup? Grey or black switch? And yes, you can cheaply make your own kit by using computer fans. Works really well and beats paying the 400$ or so list price for the kit. Chilledman: I'm talking about the tilt sensor for the factory alarm. If your car isn't an OSD or diplomat car I don't think you would have it. Unless someone retrofitted it, but it has to be programmed.
