thewhiteguy1
TBH i'm not surprised people didn't see this one coming. After a Judge ruled in favor of that numb nuts who discovered that Subway's subs are 11" instead of "foot longs," what else would you expect. People always looking for the next big thing
JoshV70
How about gas pumps with only one hose? Say the person before me filled with 87 and I fill with 93. I'm getting charged the full 93 rate but how about the fraction of 87 that's still in the hose?
survolvo
Time to lawyer up. See if we can't get a class action on that!

Brad850
How about gas pumps with only one hose? Say the person before me filled with 87 and I fill with 93. I'm getting charged the full 93 rate but how about the fraction of 87 that's still in the hose? I've always been skeptical of those pumps. Could be pumping 87 no matter what button you push. Same goes for any type of gas station really. I've always wondered how regulated it is. Edited September 17, 2014 by B850

Most states require annual inspections, you should be able to see little stickers on them showing the last inspection date. Or you can just use a station with 3 hoses.
mattsk8
I can tell if I'm getting 87 vs 93, my car runs different. I won't use any of the Mobil gas near me, complete crap.
jschaefer7406
Or you can just use a station with 3 hoses. Don't even know where there ARE any of those in PA, seems they're mostly all single hose pumps .I can tell if I'm getting 87 vs 93, my car runs different. I won't use any of the Mobil gas near me, complete crap. I agree. Haven't ever knowingly tried anything but 93 in the S70, but know the Wife's XC90 runs noticeable different (stock 2.5T). Dealer delivered the car to us after some service work (235 miles away, so needed a fill up ) and the car had noticeably less power and more engine vibration. Filled up with 93 and she was back to herself .
