MattyXXL
Shit maybe I should sell my obx off the 850. $300 shipped sounds good to me
Timbo Slice
Yeah and the catbacks for the P2R fits worse than Fat Mat in a high-chair. As long as the downpipe continues to go for $150, that'll be nice as it seems building a custom cat back is the way to go.

gilber33
Any suggestions for getting wifi out to my garage? I bought a supposed range extender and put it by the back door. Using a wifi meter on my phone there is a weak signal in the garage that phone will barely connect to but my computer doesn't pick it up at all. Suggestions? Burn-E
Gabe, you just need a more powerful antenna out in the garage. Your phone's wifi antenna is small and sucks for distance. One option is to run a cable out there. Put a hole in the wall and run the cable from your main router, bury it in conduit pipe under the lawn (3-6 inches is sufficient) and then run it into the garage. Then seal up the holes. It's a little bit of a jerry rig but it will be your easiest route. I have a 100 ft cable I've used previously to reach extended distances without any real loss of signal. You want to get more sophisticated with the wifi then you're looking at a directional antenna. Something like this: http://www.instructables.com/id/10--WIFI-16dBi-Super-Antenna-Pictorial/ But if you want to save all the pain with the DIY then consider this: http://www.amazon.com/Alfa-Awus036H-Upgraded-Long-Rang-Panel/dp/B003YHYIT0/ref=cm_cr_dp_asin_lnk Or else this for a newer wifi (N) setup: http://www.amazon.com/Alfa-AWUS036NH-Wireless-Long-Range-Screw-On/dp/B003YIFHJY/ref=pd_cp_pc_0
gilber33
Would I put that in the garage or in the house? My desktop just has a USB wifi adapter that the installation tech gave me so he wouldnt have to run wiring upstairs.
survolvo
Gabe, How is the signal outside of the garage? A real easy way is to just buy a length of USB cable and run the adapter you have on your computer to the outside of the garage, and attach it under an eave. That is what I have done in my shop and it is about 200ft away from the router. Inside I get no signal, but once I ran it out side, I get a great signal. I use this one. http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WN822N-Wireless-External-Antennas/dp/B00416Q5KI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1415475858&sr=1-1&keywords=TP-LINK+TL-WN822N
gilber33
That's a good idea. I'll try that first. Outside of the garage the signal was pretty decent. I know it's not helping the tower is under my workbench.
Burn-E
The antenna I described would be attached to your desktop in the garage. Ideally next to a window or something along those lines. Jon lives in balmy California - if YOU are going to put an adapter outside make sure it's weatherized and not just under the eaves because the snow and ice will kill it otherwise. survolvo
I actually had one on the roof of my house for a while through the winter. I put it in a small 6qt clear sterilite container. I cut a hole for the cable and sealed the hole with silicone. It still got a good signal and survived through the rain and all the salt air, which is the hardest thing on electronics here. Not sure how it would stand up to snow or ice, but its an idea to weatherproof it.
gilber33
I would set it in the inside of the overhang of the garage. Out of the weather and as close as possible to the outside.
survolvo
Paul Walkers garage. So many nice cars. Even a P1800 @ 5:44. He was a serious Mustang nut it seems.
theForgottenone
I wouldn't mind owning just any one of the car in his shop except for the Nissan altima or maxima.
mattsk8
I wouldn't mind owning just any one of the car in his shop except for the Nissan altima or maxima. That 94 Mustang... yuck. Definitely one of the ugliest cars ever made. Perhaps a tie for ugly would be the 95 Camaro (don't think this was in Paul's garage) And while I'm at it, what was GM thinking with this?? Looks like a 2 door Cadillac Catera.
