I broke mine out for the first time skiing last week and it came out pretty cool, except for an aiming issue... nice shot of ski tips and snow! (moe-ron)

Travis, do you use the gopro editing software?

Nay, I've heard it works ok though for basic needs...You have to using a good editing tool for post processing like Adobe Premier or Sony Vegas if you want best results...

The aiming is pretty easy with the GoPro app, connects to phone over WiFi and you get video preview (amongst other controls), pretty handy...

I've got the set up, but trying to acomplish the editing on my laptop is folly. We use Sony Vegas at work for audio, so I may start playing with it's video aspects.

Yeah, I did aim with the preview on the phone.... that's where the moron comes in. ;)

My buddy is using a Z3v on Verizon, which is basically an updated Z2. For what it's worth, he loves everything about it from build quality to operation. The true Z3 from what I understand is a touch better in just about all aspects: thinner, faster, a bit nicer camera, quite a bit more sleek with more metal than plastic.

I almost got the Z3v before I decided on the Droid Turbo. If the true Z3 was available on Verizon, I more than likely would have gotten it.

Love it, and I'm glad I got it. It's everything you need, and I'm sure plenty more than I personally use. Charge the battery once every day and a half (sometimes 2 if I'm busy and don't use it a lot), it takes great pictures, the SnapDragon processor is fast as shit...it's a powerful piece of hardware. I'll likely stay droid from now on.

I will be switching carriers and am going to go with the Z3 as well. My phone is very very old, glitchy, and has no space, much like Jon's. I have always had Motorola but I figure I can take a leap to another maker to see what other things are out there, and Sony really did a great job with the phone on the things I have read and seen.
