Probably had something to do with selling the cars to certain buyer groups. When all cars have the same equipment level, planning becomes easier and pricing will be consistent. It might also allow for cheaper prices compared to building all cars to order.

I have a hard time imagining Volvo selling a 850 R to an american buyer for something like 90 grand. Or a V70 R AWD for 100 grand.

That .gif also demonstrates why Volvo offered armored versions of their cars ^_^

Same here except mine comes and goes. It will be fine for a day and then all of a sudden out of nowhere the thing is incredibly laggy, gets super hot and I can watch the battery life go down. Happened today in the garage; I couldn't do anything on the phone, it got hot, and the battery went from 70% down to 40% in a few minutes. Restarted it and all of a sudden the battery was where it should be and it was operating smoothly.

It's always fine once I restart it, but It's definitely not right though.

Did a hard reset on mine 2 days ago and that seems to have fixed it (which is a pain cuz it basically takes it back to zero, like the day you bought it, so you have to reset everything). Another thing I did was put MobilGo app on it, which is supposedly some sort of performance enhancing drug for Android phones. Not even sure exactly what the app does, it just alerts me when my "Memory usage is over 80%", so I boost it and it does some weird stuff.

Short version is, when I got the phone I'd easily get a day and a half of heavy use out of a battery charge. After their update, I struggled to get 10 hours. Reset and put that app on, I'm back to at least a full day of heavy use before I need to charge it. Not sure if that MobileGo app does anything or not, I might uninstall it and see if my phone is the same. It's also not at all as buggy as it was.
