So i just did some research on the current Volvo Polestar version and it's priced in the same segment as the M3, S4, CLA45 (which is $10K less) or C63 AMG

I'm honestly find it hard to present a case where the Polestar would win in any category beside safety vs the variety of these performance based version from the German brand.

The Polestar V60/S60 is only rated at 258 kW (350 hp DIN / 345 hp SAE) which is considerable less compare to some of the model above

CLA AMG as the same class as M3/M4? :lol::lol::lol: try again they use a FWD based AWD system and is no where near 50/50 weight distribution

the S4 has been tamed down....the RS4 is the real competitor in that group

 

 

I heavily applaud Volvo for their work but unfortunately the power output and information I can read on paper doesn't justify the performance or the cost

There are three fueling ports on the vehicle: one for gasoline, diesel fuel and electricity. During Edmunds.com’s time with the vehicle at a secure and sequestered test facility, it was never apparent exactly which part of the Tri-Element Hybrid drivetrain was operating at any time. Or what happened to any of the fuel the Prancer was apparently ingesting. A closer inspection of the powertrain was frustrated when it was discovered the hood was welded shut. That’s mechanical confidence on the part of Tartan — and why it’s known as the “Honda of Albania.”

Anyone know if Reid is still doing lock actuators for P80s?  My drivers side lock is starting to act up and is intermittently failing to unlock by the remote.

The S4 is the best its been IMO, the v8 while smooth was slow, the supercharged v6 with very little work is a beast. Chris Harris did a segment a while ago where he only flashed (no supporting mods) his S4 avant auto and put it up to an RS6, still lost but was pretty close.
