Hmmm...

I really do love the new S/V90 design, but I can't help but think they look like Dodges.

 I'm ok with that. From an appearance standpoint, I actually like the first "new" Charger much more than its replacements. And the Magnum is ok at best, but it should've had the same front end as the Charger.

Not seeing it, at all. Wagons are wagons, all look kinda the same.

Most buildings are designed with egress routes in event of a fire right? I'm sure building code varies by the state/country, but I thought there was some general rule about having more than one exit point in case one is compromised. I wonder if it would make sense to amend that in the event of an attacker? For example, have you ever seen a convenience store where the clerk is stuck in the corner? So if someone comes in, robber, crazy asshole, etc, now they're stuck. It doesn't seem like it would take much effort to design it so there is more than one path out for all future building plans. Maybe it's not even a requirement, just a suggestion. I know some places address this by having the clerk behind some safety wall. But I mean for this to be applied to all businesses, and that would include patrons.

Not really because then an attacker could effectively block the only exit and lay waste to everyone trapped, remember most times these people aren't planning on escaping, the idea is to martyr.

I used robber or crazy asshole as examples for a reason. I'm not talking about some well thought out organized terror event with multiple attackers. That's a tough scenario to address. But I'm thinking it wouldn't take a lot of extra effort to design some places with ways to escape one bad person. And I think the single attacker is a far more observed scenario.

The problem with that too is its another entry point into the "secured" area. And in my experience or coworkers, it's just a care door that people can hang out and smoke from. (Avoiding work) and potentially forgetting to lock when they close up at night.

I have to assume you already have more than one exit/entry door? So in that case, it'd be about the wall structure inside allowing for access to both. Not creating pockets in which you're stuck, or limited to one exit. You really only need two entry/exits to the outside, something I'd figure you'd already have?

And an emergency exit counts. If you're running form a guy with a gun, a fire exit seems suitable.

I work in the construction/engineering field and right now i work in a building which houses Level 3 communications, Google, and the FBI(we can talk conspiracy theories about that later), it seems its completely disregarded even as emergency points of egress as one stair case has been eliminated from 3 middle floors in the year I've been there, meaning someone would potentially be trapped if they couldn't enter another floor to access another stairway or elevator or return to where they came from.  One tenant has also added key swipes in doorways in emergency stairways which i questioned the legality of but the inspectors seemed unconcerned with it.

Swipes to get *out*? As in there's no alarmed button to override? Press here for emergency?

To get out yes, but the stairway you enter doesn't go to the street, and from there you'd need to swipe to get back on most floors which puts you SOL if you're a guest or ran out without your card

Nah, it shows you're an OG Mike.  If I recall the list before it disappeared you're in the top 10 for posts.  Justin will forever rank at the top with ~30k. I was at the bottom of the top 20 with 13,000.
