he gets shit daily for having a RHD car which people liken to mail carrier truck which is the only RHD his local yokels know of

Might help to know that in some parts of the country (probably mostly rural), mail carriers have their own vehicles which aren't the typical white USPS trucks. But these vehicles are custom ordered RHD drive cars. Subaru is was one of the popular models used for this, so maybe the Subaru Legacy was popular for this in his area - and reminds people of his Mitsu. Wrangler's are the other common one I've seen.

Yeah there are a few RHD Jeeps mainly Cherokees and the occasional RHD Legacy wagon.

A new RHD Jeep pulled into my work a few months back and I asked the lady about it. She did indeed work for USPS and said that Jeep is one of the few companies that still make them. They need a minimum order of, IIRC, four to make them. They have to order them specially, as in USPS doesn't buy them for the mail carriers, but in order to be able to order one she had to prove she worked for USPS. And then when she's not delivering mail, she daily's it.

So then I need to find the Global/Sprint A1586 to make sure it works with carriers in E. Europe?
