Obviously XC70s and XC90s were brought here in that year, and I know V70s were made in OR models, but I'm not sure if we got them and can't really find any information on it. The easiest way for you to get a pretend V70 'Ocean Race' would be to repaint a V70. Change the exterior colour to #458 ("Ocean Blue Metallic"); for an '02 model stick with the plastic exterior trim OR paint the exterior door trim in silver (front and rear bumper trim are colour matched) for the '06 model; stick with the black roof rails for the '02 model OR change the middel part of the roof rails to silver for the '06 model (black rail connections to body, silver middle bit). Attach 'Ocean Race - Around the world' badge to front doors, near the lower front corner of the doors beneath the trim. Paint interior trim in #458 for the '06 model or stick with the present trim for the '02 model. Change interior to one with correct stitching or change nothing as nobody will know the difference. I would much rather have a legit V70 OR to match my XC90 and (future) XC70. C. Ohio was like one long never ending road construction zone. Indiana was like a giant cornfield. Got home and wanted to enjoy the GVR4... and the Walbro was dead. Drove to Summit and picked up a new one. It was not fun doing it in the apartment complex with no shade. So much ball sweat.
