But mine has 150k miles and I'm pretty sure they're OE plugs. When I say "fun to change" I mean I don't want one breaking off in the head. The ones I changed in the 6.0 a while back came out real hard, easy to change as spark plugs go, but not if one breaks off in the head. I also need to fix the exhaust manifold studs on it. Use an impact on a low setting if they're tough. They won't break off that way. It'll vibrate them.
theForgottenone
Does anybody have a recommendation for a surveillance system with hardrive for POE setup? came across a old thread on google search and the best answer was to piece together a set from alienexpress. I was thinking of Qsee but then that thread was frown upon the brand among others such as lorex. just needing 4 cameras setup.
flyfishing3
I have adt and use their cameras etc
Dick Dastardly
I installed 12 Sony color infrared cameras and a 120gig hard drive at the shop. Been running flawlessly for 8 years. Data saves 10 days and then the oldest is over written by the newest.. Very cheap to DIY.
gmsgltr
I did the netgear vue zone then got frustrated with the battery usage and don't have any anymore and from what I recorded never found anything anyway. I had a month span of my bbs wheels being loose and held on by one bolt (the wheel lock) and some other odd things. I have considered the Netgear Arlo but meh... Black Betty
BIL does security installs. He put Arlo camera's up in the house. Checking the retail prices for these I wouldn't have bought them. They are nice because they are wireless but that means having to deal with batteries and conserving battery life. So you end up turning down the quality, and not recording continuously. They also take a long time to detect motion. They have only been up for 4 days so I haven't seen the true battery life yet. All we really wanted was a baby camera to watch on the kid. Ended up with a whole security system ( 3 glass break sensors, 2 smoke sensors, sensors on all windows and doors, and 3 Arlo cameras) so I can't complain. edit: the arlo camera's blow big time. The main issue is that they don't record until motion stops, they just record sessions at whatever you tell it to. The maximum you can record per session is 2 minutes then there's a long lag time to save the file and restart the next session.
Dick Dastardly
Mine are wired for video and audio.. But only video is active. I'd rather run one cable per camera than deal with batteries. Install once and forget it.
theForgottenone
I'm all prewire for cat5e. I can run either POE or with actual 120v electrical plug. I can buy any individual cameras but just don't know what Network recorder system can integrated with the ease compatibility for them. That is my struggle to figure it out. Or I can bite the bullet and buy one of those premade system from Costco.

Brad850
Any of yous guys into telescopes? I've had an orion starmax 102mm for years but never really used it. From what I gather it's a pretty decent scope. I'm currently looking into buying my first set of eye pieces but not entirely sure what to get. I think I'm going to buy a set of 7.5, 12.5, and 20mm sirius plossls to get started.
RBoy8
Drove my dad's car to work today and forgot how much more connected/heavy the steering is in both our 850s over the S70. Makes me wonder, does anyone else with an x70 have light, touchy steering? My V70's steering was heavy but it had a worn steering rack. andyb5
I noticed a huge difference between a handful of 98 S/V70s that I've owned/driven and my 99 R; the 99 has much lighter steering. I suspect this is because of the change in PS pumps I haven't specifically driven an 850 so I'm not sure how they compare to a 98 S/V/C.
phunktified
it's the newer 99+ rack that has a lighter feeling - confirmed by putting newer pump, res, etc in my 98 and keeping da rack
RBoy8
Hmmm, I know my grandfather had the steering rack replaced a couple of years before I bought it. Guess that must be it then. I didn't know they were interchangeable!
gmsgltr
I have electric steering in the GTI and I can change the weight :) I love it
