So....

Staying up all night to finish a project (finishing another team member's part) was a terrible idea. No choice though. Sucks when you know whatcha gotta do to make things happen.

Presentation in t-minus 2 hours

//End of semester, and end of Bachelors degree though, so it's worth it.

I hate team projects with a passion, there's always a slob banking on everyone else's work ethic. I've humiliated more than a few other students by calling them out on it.

Matt, we at Volvospeed would like you know if you are a team player. Because here, there is no "i" in volvospeed.

I prefer to work alone for the most part, though I don't mind teams if I can pick the group. There's a very short list of people I trust and know will deliver.

In this case, I was actually quite shocked. I don't know this person THAT well, but they seemed to be on the ball. Unfortunately, I think it was inexperience and the fear of asking for help combined with other deadlines. The code was written, but never tested. Took me more time to work with the poorly written code than it would have to write it all myself. I had attempted to help the member set their server up to run the code, and I thought they were all set but it was very apparent that was not the case when I received completely non-functional code :(

Best solution I have found is to have team member's grade each other. Your teams "overall grade" is averaged with peer-to-peer indivdual grade. So if your group gets an A, but the rest of the team gave you F's, slackers are graded accordingly.
