Nice job Erik! I thought you ran a school, did you change jobs ?

Thanks. I'm now going to run the international admissions of our boarding schools (6 in the US, one in Geneva), and serve as a market strategist/analyst for the organization and our day-school population.

Convinced myself not to click the check out button for a cordless impact for another day. But also decided that I'm not working on the car again until I have one. Soooo...we'll see which one comes first.

Erik:

that's interesting. I did the whole IB thing in high school, loved it. Can't beat the class sizes, the extra credits in college (got done in 3 years) and the int'l mix. I wish there was more of that here, that's the one thing that I really miss in KY: it's not int'l by any means.

Booty Call Gone Wrong...

21 year old kid gets pulled over for driving 111 in a 45 - tells cop he was on his way to go have sex. Might have gotten away with it if he was driving a Volvo.

Top tip:

Don't ever move/remove the plate that holds the X70 front bumper bolts. Just took me an hour to realign one. :monkey:

Wait, was your bumper misaligned as a result? Somehow my bumper has become misaligned and I'm trying to figure out why there's a gap under the driver's side headlight.

Well it started out as the bolt not being able to thread, but once it threaded there was a gap. So I fumbled with the plate until it looked right.

In short, yes. That will fix the gap.

Dont remember my TB login :(

Reason to not megasquirt your KJet brick.

When the EMP's begin to hit later on this year, and alot of electronics (and people) begin to go haywire a KJet car will make fairly good sense.

Granted the ECU and ignition module on the KJet car won't withstand this quite well, so you'd just have to ditch the KJet Lambda ECU, and run 'er without o2 sensor

control. The ignition module you could either shield it and make a faraday cage and shield the wiring going to the ignition module would be feasible due to the simplicity

of the ignition harness, probably more easily done than going back to a points ignition system on a later redblock distributor.. But wait were some euro market early 240's

points? If so, then problemo solved.

The rest, alternator diodes would go but if you stockpile a bunch of spare components for the charging system then you should be well enough.

Too bad shielding yourself from this **** once it hits will be another entire problem altogether..
