That charge will follow you around forever.i wonder what the difference in the fine is for underage drinking vs PCS and what the difference it is on your record.i know i had an underage citation and lost my license for 90 days. i wasn't even near a car. The coolest part of that will be when you have to write an explanation to be filed in your employee records when you get a REAL job in the REAL world. Then you have to pay a lawer to have it sealed and expunged. Which doesn't even count if you want to be a lawer, teacher and other various jobs.I'm not trying to be harsh but pot is not worth it. Having something that can be used against you sucks. This is a competitive world and companies and people are looking for any reason to not give you a piece of the pie. Don't limit your chances to provide for yourself and potentailly a family you'll have by breaking some stupid laws.+1 PLease learn your lesson. I know pot being illegal is stupid. However, until it's legal you're only hurting yourself by smoking./lectureno, it's not worth it. the charge will go away when i'm 18, though. and i don't drink. anything that makes me hungover and makes me throwup when i have a lot i don't want to be putting into my body. i know a ton of you guys hate weed and love beer and think alcohol isn't that bad because it's legal but from all i've learned i feel that marijuana is a lot safer to be putting into your body than alcohol. Community service, some AA/NA classes, and whatever your parents decide to do to you are about it.If you are willing to take the risk, you have to be willing to pay the consequences. I hire and have hired many times. I would take a person with the underage drinking charge over the person with the controlled substance charge. Also if you only hear controled substance than your left to imagine other things besides pot. By getting the PCS charge you grouped yourself with all other cocaine, heroin, meth, crack, pills and other drugs addict and offenders.Not cool. I mentioned drink a beer not a case. Alcohol is bad too. However you seem to have to get wasted, high whatever.
