Nah, I just blew the engine once. But those are the "common" issues with all the 2.5 liter engines.

Yeah a brand new car with denied warranty because it was "his fault" the oil pickup tube failed and he spun a bearing.

Well this thing is just gonna be a daily, I was looking at XS's originally but when I saw the XTs were also well within my price range the turbo bug started biting.  You know if the NAs are as problematic with the oil? 

A lot of the ones I've seen make a point to say the head gaskets were done and that both diff fluids were changed.

NA's are not as problematic (aside from headgaskets and oil pickup tubes) it's usually the turbo ones having the big issues

So are these constant problems or are there replacement parts that can prevent issues?

Oh yeah, there are aftermarket better replacements (killer B motorsports makes the pickup tube for example)
