I have a friend that rides GP125 and he says a bunch of the guys run ELF - any good?I run Elf or motul in the kart. If you are over 18k I would go elf. I used to live right by them and I bought a 1500 dollar moped off of them during their dry time of the year. Any recommendations for a decent semi syn then?? Shell maybe??? I had mobile 1 once or twice in my car it seems to give more performance for some reason but stopped using it after i got a oil leakWhat do you guys think of Penrite HPR?? Raintracks Posted October 24, 2007 Report Share Posted October 24, 2007 The Volvo of Orange County uses Castrol Oil and I think they have Mobil in the back (upon request). With mine, I used to feed my car Mobil 1 which is great, but lately - the past 2 oil changes I've been using Royal Purple....dunno what it is but I could tell the difference. I have read several articles about non-synthetic oil, and none of them I remember mentioning castrol sludge after use. I really did want to open the engine and see how she looked though.My 850 has been on M1 since I got the new RMS.My parents cars...The 91 245 runs castrol gtx, sometime the High Mi stuff (150K?)The 06 XC70 runs castrol gtxThe 91 325i runs castrol gtx as well.
