PsychoBeano
Yesterday I did a Two-Tone interior conversion! I think it looks kickace and goes great together. Black upper dash, tan lower dash, tan center console, black arm rest/cupholder, Black leather seats all around, black carpet, black door panels with tan speaker grills. All for about $120! Today I fixed my keyless, alarm, interior lights, and cigarette lighter. Turns out they were all fuses . Later on I will be replacing the bulbs for the ECC. ViperVette
Rode 235/35/ZR19s for my entire 1.5 hour commute while it was snowing and ~32*. Fun stuff knowing that if you need to hit your brakes that your not stopping at 70 mph.Rode 235/35/ZR19s for my entire 1.5 hour commute while it was snowing and ~32*. JHEIII874T5M
Lately we've been thinking that it's a lifter on my S70 and not a rod Stopped by the gas station, got a couple gallons of gas, and then cruised back home. I picked up a can of Seafoam and put it through the engine, really only took about 5 minutes to do... really wasn't that much smoke... but it made some really fun backfires out the twin pipes Hopped back in the car and took it for a spirited drive. Little background... ever since this ticking started about 1500 miles ago, I haven't really passed 2000 RPM. Welllll, today I figured... ya know what, I'll put the Seafoam in, and if the S70 blows up... I could always drive the Miata.Left the house, did a tiny 2nd gear pull... haven't felt 12 PSI in a while. Then I turned onto a main street, called Eric up, and told him to listen... maybe he'd hear the final demise of this block. Got into 2nd gear and nailed it. Water injection came on and the S70 was breathing out around 17 PSI, shifted into 3rd and held it through 3rd. No holes in the block, car still idled... the tick was still there. Kept on driving on my way to school. Get to another couple of lights and I'm next to a Dodge Ram SRT10 and a G35 that are being ninjas at the light. Light goes green, we all easily roll off the light, I see the G35 ease into it, and the SRT10 match his pace. I nail it in 2nd, wind it out to redline, and go through about 5500 RPM worth of 3rd gear. Excuse the grin, but it won't be going away for some time. Soooo I guess it's time for Eric and I to pull this valve cover off.
