I'm trying to be cheap and use the D2 tie rod ends and just replace the tube, so M10, yup more than doubling the length of the d2's ordered 200mm (8") and 300mm (12") rods, so we will see.

Yeah that sucks they don't have anything long ones in stock (I just double checked :( ). Did you try other places? Speedway? Another option is get two short MHT-100mm hex tube and connect them with a TR1010mm rod. Not sure if you'll be saving any $$ but it will work.

regapped my plugs from .044 to .028, matched the wires to their correct spot on the disty.

car still runs like stuff.

You were driving it with the firing order off?? you could try Unhooking battery terminals and touch them together for ~10 seconds..reset ECU..Are you sure you have the firing order correct now?

i checked codes not too long ago and it was just the o2 sensor. normally when that acts up i just stall out shifting into drive or reverse. this BS i'm dealing with now started while i was driving on the highway. i had like, 4 hours of driving and then when i stop for fuel it's running like stuff all the way to the pump.

i did disconnect the battery for a couple minutes but i dont think it reset.

touching the cable together sounds weird but i'll try anything.

O2 can cause running issues. Replace it if it's bad

would that cause the rough idle i have? when i was driving back home the other day the boost gauge was sitting right in the middle while i was cruising. normally it's about a third of the way into vacuum.

It can cause you to run rich if I am not mistaken aka rough ass idle.
