matt b
Late last night but it spilled into today (technically). R5: buttoned up a few things on the engine (hoses, some wiring and a water temp sending unit seal). Replaced the clutch and throw out bearing (not thrilled to see the new one being a repacked unit....). Also replaced 2 output seals on the transmission. Oreo931
New engine in the 850T5R? What happened? Yeah. Built 2004 2.3L RN motor. Several months ago I was driving on the hwy and my heater core exploded. I pulled over, refilled coolant, and decided to drive home since I was less than 2 miles away. I underestimated how bad the leak was, and I ended up driving part of the way with no coolant. Rookie mistake on my part. Should have called a tow truck. Live and learn. 7 VII 7
I need to see where some of my coolant is going. Nothing drastic but I put about a cup of water in it every 2 or 3 months. I am thinking an old hose or heater core.
