gmsgltr
I bought the big blacks, and I am painting these red. The big blacks are considerably cheaper from the start than the reds, and I didnt want "porsche" on them so either way they needed work... Same goes for the rear R calipers... Brad850
O nice didn't see you were sanding them. Good call. I was thinking the same about the porsche emblem. Will be a while before I can afford them though lol.

Because just searching porsche front caliper, all the black ones are pretty cheap. Like 250-400/pair.

gilber33
I'm talking about like the ones IPD sells. I see similar ones in eBay for really cheap. Do they need to be from specific model or what? Just answer my fucking question you dildo.
Aequitas_Veritas
No every porsche brake painted black is the same one. All Red ones are the same too. Thats how you know which style you have. Although you can put red brakes onto a car that originally had black brakes, but only if you paint them first.

phunktified
Because it requires careful manipulation so you don't scratch the grey outer casing and you can't really do it with gloves on and it helps to hold a bright flashlight up against the mirror to see the clip you're trying to pry loose. So instead of sitting there and freezing my butt off I decided to wait until the weather turned so I could do it outside in the full sunlight. I two sets (on the coupe too). It took me forever to track down the driver sides but Will came through a while back. I used a big shiny screwdriver with a thin piece of foam over it .. u can see where the clips are based on the replacements, I just slid over to those two spots on top and on bottom... pop popx2 ... no nicks or scratches .. no flashlight I was quite pleased that it didnt take much effort as I was worried about fudging something up but all clips are intact I may try the mirrors myself but I dont really do any highway driving right now which is what theyre most helpful for I think ..
