Brady
Right lower valence grille showed up. Plasti dipped both sides to match, the old one was nice and faded. Then I did my end of ski season interior clean up along with an exterior job!
andyb5
Hauled a stainless steel countertop to my shop to build a new worktable out of: Then put my summer tires on in prep for AutoX on Sat And I mounted a new set of summers for my friend's C30
Ghost Shadow
Shit, you're telling me. If it weren't such a unicorn I would have scraped the bastard by now. Front shocks are also leaking worse than suspected, the oil is now covering the entire left side of the subframe. What have I learned about the PO? He fixed the bare minimum, hauled his shit ass kids and dogs around in it and punted right when he knew it was going to hit the fan. Fortunately I bought it so cheap I'm still in it right, but the punches keep coming. I had someone offer to buy it today, but I told him only stupid money would buy the car, mostly because of the bullshit I've been through. Why I dumped my R.. it's not a unicorn it's a automatic and it's a needy bitch ass hoe
Mike87
I changed the wheels from winter to summer tires on the S60 And I found out a leak from the front passenger's side shock.. uhm
matt b
I had considered them, but I truly use the different settings for different driving conditions. Maybe if I had another DD I'd go this route. If you want to sell your 4C's and go KW we could work something out installed Sounds good to me. I'm getting ready to the the T-belt on it since it's now 10 years old ( ), I hope to do the FMIC and sways before the end of summer but I'd definitely be wiling to go KW's and sell you my current set up. It only has 7K miles and the springs make the car sit just right.
Kevin.
Why FMIC and not a drop in?
Ihatespeedbumps
FMIC because group buy.
matt b
FMIC because group buy. Exactly, I hate the current OEM set up with the secondary intercooler. Heat soak in the summer is a guarantee and the car runs noticeably worse because of it. And also the same reason I got the sways: super cheap on the group buy and it's a mod I know I'll want to do at some point.
Timbo Slice
Is there a way to avoid throwing codes when removing the 4C? I may go KW as well, but I don't want to have to worry about codes and I want to retain the ability to use the chassis settings for tunes.
matt b
Yes, multiple write ups on SS. You had a relay after connecting some of the 4C plug wires and you're done. Mine being an 04, it may not work as well as later models, I need to check.
Timbo Slice
Gotcha. I may be looking to do this rather shortly, I feel like these Cleveland roads are destroying my suspension faster than usual.
andyb5
Matt, 04's are the easiest to delete the 4C system on. On 05+ the upgrades to the CANBUS network make fooling things a bit more complex.

Honeyman
Finally buttoned up Snabb's RIP and GPI intercooler upgrade... Neubar was quite helpful in lending me his experience, and you already know that Kristian's products are great. Heck, I got no beef with that intercooler, either. It's definitely an improvement over the stock one. (Everything is bigger in some spots, so there was plastic trimming to be had.) Someone suggested I replace the radiator, (Again, thanks, Neu, ya bastid), hoses, etc., which I did. Pulled off fan shroud mod and horn relocate while in there. Am quite satisfied! Heater core tomorrow, fluids, then test drive .
