got this problem diagnosed.

46-02-2000-01-28 Title: Chafing sound from viscous coupling/torque tube area.

On some AWD/XC vehicles there might be a rotating, chafing sound coming from the torque tube/viscous coupling area. The sound typically occurs during light to medium load conditions at low speed. In some cases the sound is mostly present while turning. The sound is most common during warm weather conditions. A reason for this condition could be that there may be excessive radial play between torque tube housing and the bearing, causing movement of the bearing. The play between the bearing (steel) and the aluminum housing could increase at high temperature and the bearing movement in torque tube could make this chafing sound.

fun fun fun.

you guys should be so luck to get my car if i ever sell it. it will be brand new when i'm done with it.

maintenance, maintenance, mainenance.

Pretty much it has be lugging at start, then yesterday the check engine light came on.....pretty sure it's the MAF sensor or an 02 sensor.....maybe the fuel pump, won't know until tomorrow......

You should do the repairs yourself and broadcast it so I can yell at you through a computer.
