50 Trim with a Tial 38, 1 bar spring. Water/meth, megasquirt PnP through DIYAutotune.com, and having a local welding guru make the manifold.

Already have the Torsen Rear LSD and clutch/pp/lightened flywheel installed to handle transmission matters. Heck, the water/meth setup is sitting on the shelf from when I took it off the S70.

300whp should be interesting in a 2100 pound car.

spoke to soon

$67.50 to resurface the head

$150 to dissemble the head and valves

then it depends on what is wrong such as valves and all that

 Valve jobs run about $300 usually on these heads... wonder what your guy is going to charge to reassemble the head & valves. Looks like you're already $210 in the hole

Sourcing new valve seals?

Oh and what's up with you and the rebuild? Timing belt snap or something?

May want to check this thread out for machining costs: http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?showtopic=80202

all OEM, not really worried about $$$ with this valve job since the guy is awesome and has been dealing with Don Beyer Volvo Dealership for years and years and years and years. I just want it done right.

no, I am building something :)

yeah no issues so far... just trying to get things straight

I am the kind of guy that measures 5 times and cuts 1 time.

I have been doing a lot of research but still want to make sure everything is 100% before I spend 4k on this

good idea otherwise it would turn into 8k to do it twice, i would take notes while you're doing it too so you know what you've done and what you've missed. or make a checklist and sign off on everything as you do it.

yeah, I will remember everything

for the wires and all that jazz I am just lettering them to where they go A to A, B to B ect.
