We are now in the paint job finalization stage and I did a few things that needed done really bad.I clay barred every light on the car followed by a gentle session w/ light paint thinner and hand buffed them back to a brilliant gloss.Here soon I'm going to paint my lower bumper grills a shade darker to hopefully match the XC grill, begin engine bay over spray removal and replace/adjust roof strips/rain diverters.I also picked up the 5th Comet I forgot at Carlisle yesterday. 7 VII 7 Posted May 17, 2009 Report Share Posted May 17, 2009 took out all the interooler hoses and checked the turbo for shaft playall the intercooler lines are good.... no rips... turbo has ZERO shaft play.I did notice that the IAC top hose to the vacuum tree was on but not tight on... could that cause some vacuum/boost leaks? I've been meaning to get some small t-bolt clamps for the IAC hose connections, since I don't trust the OEM clamps on my car anymore.I threw around 300lbs of stuff in the trunk today and drove across town.
