But our 850 has been doing it for the last 20k. yeah its blue. i know if it was white that means i would be burning coolant. i have a thing of oil in the trunk and routinely check the level. 7 VII 7 Posted May 15, 2010 Report Share Posted May 15, 2010 On a family friend's 97 850GLT (60k miles ) -New PCV -New serp belt -New serp belt idler pulley -New lower engine mount (near t-belt) They want to pay me for my labor...No idea how much to charge them. caanglin Posted May 15, 2010 Report Share Posted May 15, 2010 Blow off valve died today. So I started putting the IPD CBV back on but it got too dark. So tomorrow I got to put on the intake and upper pipe, wash the car and then drive to Helen for SoWo. So much for my plans of having everything done today and just wake up tomorrow and drive. They like giving me money for some reason. When I decline they insist. Then we get into one of those awkward circles where I keep declining and they keep insisting. Anyways, I think I'll just tell them to give me $100 and call it even. I had to drive to the dealer 25 minutes away TWO times today for parts (they didn't want to wait for me to order them online).
