Pads, turn rotors, replace caliper hardware and seals and flush brake fluid(or rebuild wheel cylinders, replace shoes, hardware and turn drums) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Especially if you have a p1 R, where the caliper bracket is different than other models that share the same caliper. When I had my front brakes rebuilt, the rebuilt units I got back were the the ones with the smaller caliper bracket, lots of money and time wasted going back and forth until finally just having my old calipers rebuilt and given back to me. Che'_Moderator Posted December 22, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 22, 2007 FYI rebuilt caliper is usually 50-70 dollars. Rebuild kit is 10-15. Job takes 30 minutes tops. You will spend more time packing them up to ship the cores back. For multi-piston calipers you just block in the pistons you do not want to remove and work your way around.
